FORBIDDEN JOURNEY - 1957
After 9 days & 6,000 miles on the Trans-Siberian Railroad, 41 Americans defy the travel ban to show the first US flag to enter China since 1949 as young Chinese cheer their arrival at the Beijing Station. The flag, made by the Russians for the Moscow Youth Festival, was "borrowed" by the Americans for the trip to China.
